Who new? that a Ural owner lived near Quesnel. Or, that Jim (said owner) would meet up with Chris and Craig in Quesnel, and invite them back to his abode, for rest and recuperation. (not too much beer Mum. honest) furthermore, since Jim's Ural was currently in a state of decomposition, he kindly loaned Chris the alternator from it, so that he could continue the journey without delay, after a few beers, and good nights sleep of course.
As for the deer meat and hide, lets just say, that one good turn deserves another and leave it at that.
But of course, Chris couldn't leave it at that, and when they came across another deer a few miles from Quesnel, well, one thing led to another, and...

After leaving Quesnel, the manic pair continued on to Abbotsford, where a meal, and a short break was in order. After eating and relaxing abit, they will continue their journey to Seattle, which is now within 100 miles, if only they could fly. By road, it's approximately 120. After they reach Seattle, Craig has an additional 180 miles to go to get to Portland, Chris will of course, be spending some time here in Seattle preparing for the next leg of the journey. I don't yet know what route he will take,

Chris pulled into the marina parking lot, right at midnight, or a little after, we cleaned up a few things, and sat and yakked for a while, then he went (finally!) off to the showers, and cleaned up. He needs to do some maintainance on the bike, but that will be for tomorrow. For now, I will enjoy having my brother visiting me. He has to get used to the differences that staying on a boat entail.
