Canada eh?
They had made a night run, Chris said the
Aurora Borealis
was the brightest he had ever seen. Sort of a going away present.
Chris had to replace the rear tyre on the Ural, finaly gave up the
ghost, and one of the magnets on the ignition module worked it's way
loose, and took a while to fix. Apparantly, the cover on the module is
there not to protect anything, but to catch stuff if it falls off.
Cathy, Chris wanted me to be sure and let you know that he loves you,
and misses you. (what, a phone call wasn't enough Chris?) So consider
that message passed on.
note, the Tiger maps database, run by the US dept of the Census, doesn't
cover Canada (duh) so the maps for the part of the trip that is in
Canada, are from Mapquest.
