First ride

After leaving Seattle in mid afternoon on Oct 02.

Mum and Chris stopped briefly at Mary's place in Poulsbo.

Then pressed on to the Sol-Duc hot springs in the Olympic national park. Unfortunately, by the time the tired and weary travellers arrived, the hot springs were closed, so they spent the night in rather rude accomodations, with, as Mum put it, "not so much as a coffee machine", and as Chris put it "at least the flies were big enough to skin" More on this later. (the "resort", not the fly skinning, I really don't want to know about the fly skinning.)
Chris said, the only good thing about Sol-Duc, was leaving early.

Mum was very pleased with the sheepskins, one of which belonged to Chris, and the other, which was a gift to her from Jerry during our stay at his place on Whidbey.
Chris even fired up his electric vest for part of the ride. Mum was happy and comfy in the chair with her sheepskins.
