Red stars in the Blue Star Cafe
A local Ural riders group (whose name escapes me)
has a social event
every tuesday at the
Blue Star Cafe in
Wallingford. So of course, Chris and Mum went, as did we.
The
factory participates also, and
this week, all told, there were about a dozen people there, including
Sergey Sinelnik, who is about halfway through a round the world trip on
*his* Ural. He had some great pictures from the trip so far, which
seemed to have covered Asia minor and northern africa down to Kenya.

who is the fella on the round the world trip. and Sergey,
the factory fella in this pic

Chris has used a lot of duct tape on his bike, which seemed to amuse the
Russian contingent no end.
Frankly, I think he uses it because he
has shares in the company or something.

Mum and Ural owner, Joe McLeod.

Good food, decent prices, and great company, what more can you ask?

After a while, most of the folks moved outside, to talk about the bikes,
and compare notes.

The Russian contingent, mostly anyway
Chris had discovered a small crack in the left side head, when he
cleaned the bike earlier today, so tomorrow, he is heading over to the
factory to get that taken care of. I hope he will take some photos of
that. But we'll see.
