Journey begins.

Received a phone call from Chris this morning, letting me know that he'd begun the trip.

He is travelling with a friend of his, Craig Arrowsmith, who, as we can see here, is a professional shock cord wrestler.

I had sent Chris a handheld Etrex GPS, to track his route. It arrived in time and will allow him to accurately report his location.

Chris knows people all over the place, he's got friends stashed in pretty much every city on the planet as near as I can guess. He is travelling with a friend of his, Craig Arrowsmith (who rides a 1978 Yamaha XS-750 with a sidehack.) I hope to have a picture or two of Craig's ride soon. Anyway, will update tomorrow as Chris (and Craig) continue on down the Alcan.
